Bang & Olufsen is for the 8th time hosting an international Innovational Camp, where more than 260 students have participated. The camp is conducted in a summer school format at the Bang & Olufsen facilities with participation from young talents meticulously recruited from universities and educational institutions from Denmark, Poland, the Netherlands, China and USA. The students work with concept developing, which they in three weeks have to develop into a working prototype. The work takes place in Bang & Olufsen’s development and design facilities with active participation from Bang & Olufsen development engineers.The students wrap up the course by delivering a presentation in front of external VIP guests and Bang & Olufsen management.

CD-DIP, Conceptual Design and Development of Innovative Products in full name, is to develop innovative concepts and products through working in teams with members from different knowledge disciplines and different cultural backgrounds upon the needs of corporations. The program is undertaken by collaboration among Shanghai Jiao Tong University, University of Aarhus and Aalborg Universityof Denmark and B& O Company.We urge the students in collaboration to face real world technical and consumer oriented challenges and make them respond to these challenges by designing, implementing and presenting technical concepts and innovative product sketches complying with business standards and expectations.
